Terms and Conditions

 

These Terms and Conditions govern all photography services provided by the Photographer, based in Seoul, South Korea, and serving international clients. By booking or participating in a photoshoot, you agree to the following terms.

 

Acceptance of Terms

 

By booking a session, communicating with the Photographer, or receiving photography services, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not book or use the services.

 

Services Provided

 

The Photographer provides professional photography services, including the capture and editing of high-quality digital images. Physical prints are available only upon special request and may require additional fees. All session details, including location, duration, and creative direction, are discussed directly with the client prior to the session.

 

Payment Policy

 

No deposit is required to reserve a session. Full payment is due on the day of the photoshoot before the session begins. Accepted payment methods include:

• Cash in person•

ATM transfer to the Photographer’s Korean bank account

• USD equivalent sent to the Photographer’s U.S. bank account

Credit cards, debit cards, PayPal, and any other online payment systems are not accepted. Once payment has been made, all sales are final. No refunds are offered under any circumstances.

 

Deliverables and Timelines

 

Only digital images are delivered unless physical prints are specifically requested. Final edited images are delivered through an online gallery or digital download link. Typical delivery time is between 3 and 6 weeks from the date of the session. Delivery times may vary based on workload, travel, or project complexity. The Photographer retains sole discretion over which images are selected and edited for final delivery.

 

Intellectual Property Rights

 

All photographs taken during the session are the intellectual property of the Photographer. Copyright remains fully owned by the Photographer at all times. Clients receive a personal-use license, which allows them to download, print, and share the delivered images for personal and non-commercial use. Clients may not use images for commercial purposes, resale, or promotional activity without written permission from the Photographer.

 

Use of Images and Portfolio Rights

 

The Photographer reserves the right to use images from client sessions in portfolios, websites, social media, printed promotional materials, and other marketing or artistic showcases. If a client does not want their images used publicly, they must notify the Photographer in writing before the session. Without such notice, consent is assumed.

 

Prohibition on Editing or Altering Images

 

Clients agree not to edit, modify, alter, apply filters, retouch, or change the delivered images in any way. This includes edits made through social media platforms, apps, or third-party services. Images must be displayed as delivered to respect the Photographer’s artistic style and quality.

 

Client Responsibilities

 

Clients agree to:

• Arrive on time and prepared for the session

• Communicate any special requests in advance

• Ensure that chosen locations are safe and accessible

• Obtain any necessary permits or permissions for specific locations.

If the client arrives late, the session may still end at the originally scheduled time unless otherwise agreed.

 

The Photographer reserves the right to end a session early if unsafe behavior, harassment, or uncooperative conduct occurs.

 

Limitation of Liability. While the Photographer takes great care in capturing and preserving images, the Photographer is not liable for:

• Loss of images due to equipment failure, theft, or unexpected events

• Delays caused by circumstances beyond control

• Unsatisfactory results due to client behavior, environment, or unforeseen conditions. In all cases, the Photographer’s total liability is limited to the amount paid for the session.

 

Modifications to Terms

 

These Terms may be updated from time to time. The most current version will always be posted on the Photographer’s website. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of any updated Terms.

 

Governing Law

 

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located in Seoul, South Korea.
