Before choosing to work with Steve, I was concerned with finding someone who would understand and meet my needs (surprise engagement shots, experience w/ couples, knowledge of local scenery, friendly & professional attitude) as I was coming from US to Korea and to balance/prioritize them (budget, time, location, shots). I had rough ideas about the whole photo shoot but didn't have everything completely fleshed out. I mainly wanted to ensure the photos and memories would be captured in a meaningful, significant way and that the return on investment would be justified.

During the process of working with Steve, I was confident that my decision was solid. His services were professional with a personable touch. He returns emails promptly and clearly communicates expectations and services. Even extending his availability to chat on Instant Messaging (with a 17 hr time zone difference) so we could finalize precise plans. I made numerous requests and he gladly met them all so I signed the contract and paid deposit.

When we met for our surprise photo shoot, all went to plan (except the weather - which Steve bravely accommodated). My fiance and I had a wonderful time as Steve took our photos. He was knowledgable in poses, angles, locations and guided us throughout the entire process. It was simple, fun, easy going. Exceeded expectations. Payment was conducted online via paypal (foreign exchange not an issue), Steve makes things easy.

About a week after the shoot, I received the photos online. Easy & quick download, cropped, edited, post-processed. They turned out amazing. In summary, going with Steve is the way to go - delivers results, excellent return and value, professional service and quality, stress & pain free process from start to finish. I wish he did shoots in the US as I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again in the future.

Steve and SoJeong volunteered their services for our fundraising event in Chuncheon. We had a big group yoga event, and all the proceeds went to earthquake relief for Nepal. Steve finished editing the pictures and got them to us in less than a week, and the pictures looked great! They both have an excellent sense of focus and depth in taking a shot. I was impressed not only by the quality of the photos, but by the fact that they wasted no time in getting the finished photos to us, even though it was a volunteer (i.e. not paid) gig; I appreciated the integrity of that! I highly recommend them if you need some photography work done!
